Lloyd Princeton, founder and principal consultant of Design Management Company, works primarily with interior designers and manufacturers to help them increase revenue, gain media exposure and develop their businesses. Lloyd serves on the editorial board for Kitchen Bath & Business Magazine and is the American Society of Interior Designers California Los Angeles Chapter 2007/2009 Communications Director. He also delivers interactive presentations to design centers, universities and showrooms across the U.S. and abroad.

Design Management Company, the New York City and Los Angeles-based consulting
firm Lloyd founded in 1999, has a proven record of success in helping design professionals with their business needs, ranging from negotiating rates and structuring contracts to creating entire marketing campaigns. By implementing innovative business development strategies including market analysis, time management and fee maximization, DMC has become the premier consultancy for trade professionals and the home furnishings industry, as the company also addresses clients’ sales distribution, licensing, and staffing needs.

“We connect designers with the end-user and then we connect manufacturers and
distributors with trade professionals—it’s a complete circle that allows us to explore
synergies between the two groups,” says Lloyd.

Lloyd has been featured and profiled in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Interior Design.net, Nuvo, Las Vegas Sun, Luxe, California Home & Design, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Beverly Hills Courier, Home Furnishings Business and Design Trade Magazine, among others. He has also appeared on television for the Wall Street Journal Weekend Edition. His own articles can be found in national and regional trade publications.

Russ Winer
russ@dmcnyc.com

Russ Winer, joins Design Management Company in 2007 as Art Director for the Los Angeles office. At DMC, Russ oversees all graphic design projects, clients, cultivating formats for direct mail, marketing collateral, interactive, events, ad campaigns and more. His ability to think outside the box produces clean, crisp and diverse results, ultimately delivering what the client envisions.

With a degree in Advertising Art from The Art Center Design College in Tucson, Arizona, Russ creates a class of multidimensional printed matter and web media that is as fetching as it is pragmatic. Following his graduation from school in 2000, Russ moved to Los Angeles, taking on freelance opportunities at various establishments; a great personal and professional experience that taught him to be a client's designer, not a designer's designer. Following his freelance endeavors Russ accepted a position at Flewelling & Moody Architects as Senior Designer in charge of all graphic design. His direction for the company's new corporate identity design program won the Society for Marketing Professional Services' 1 st place Marketing Communication Award in 2002. In 2004, Russ signed on as Senior Designer for Gold's Gym International , working his way up to the position of Art Director. During his tenure at Gold's Gym International , Russ created national and international ad campaigns and materials for over 600 locations worldwide.

Since 1996, when his creative exploration first began, Russ's work has encompassed diverse, challenging, creative and tactical projects; leaving him ready for more. Over the course of his professional career Russ has developed a personal mission statement for his work: Clean and simple with a twist. His favorite aspect of a career in graphic design is the satisfaction that comes from being able to communicate a message through means of print or digital media, reaching goals of the client and/or cause.
